A few months back I wrote a post about what drives our life, derived from Rick Warren’s The Purpose Driven Life. Where there’s a drive, there are specific goals. These are things we’d like to achieve through our God-given abilities. In that post, I never mentioned any specific goal of mine because at that time, I was terrified of putting them on paper, or rather online. At the time, fear was still largely hanging over my head. We’re all dreamers in this life. We all want to find our purpose and happiness. It’s a human need to belong, to feel needed for something great. I’ve aspired for many things in my life. It’s gotten to a point where my dreams literally become dreams that take me to a night of blissful rest. But that’s the thing about dreams. Continue reading
Everyone has a driving force in life, right? Whether we are aware or not, we think and act the way we do because of our goals in life. I’d like to start off by saying that this is the very first entry on my brand new blog. I’m so excited and I believe it’s only appropriate that I commemorate this first post by writing about THE book that gave me a newfound appreciation for the life I have. This book not only gave me the guts to start this blog in the first place but it taught me more about God and myself in the first few pages alone. I am incredibly grateful to the people who introduced me to this book and to author Rick Warren for sharing God’s message to the world.
